A 2-1 win over Ross Macken sees Ian McFarlane hold on to pole position. The win has strengthened McFarlane’s push for the title as he now has a four points lead over second placed Robbie Earle and he also has games in hand on all of his nearest rivals.
At the other end of the table congratulations go to Blane Home, who in his twelfth fixture chalked up his first win of the campaign, a very creditable 2-1 success against top half contestant Steve Cousins, however he remains rooted at the foot of the table on six points, six adrift of next to bottom Terry Blakemore.
The encounter between Darren Whitehouse and Adam Gallett saw no fewer than eight three figure scores, Darren hitting 140,180 plus a break of 100 and finish of 109, while Gallett’s top shots were 125 and 100 with breaks of 120 and 100.

The league has a new leader, Robbie Earle has taken over the number one spot from Ian McFarlane after recording three 3-0 wins over Lee Beech, Colin Mace and George Green. However, Robbie, on 77 points from 20 games has played four more than McFarlane and is only seven points ahead of him. McFarlane also played three games and had 3-0 wins against Blane Home and Sean O’Donnell plus a 2-1 success in his game with Matt Gallett.
Five maximums were recorded this week and they were supplied by Robbie Earle (2), Darren Whitehouse, Ian McFarlane and Rick Barberan. Matt Gallett had a 160 break.

Robbie Earle, with another three wins under his belt, continues to lead the field in the thisisdarts Individual League. A 3-0 win over Blane Homer and two 2-1 wins against Tom Fitzpatrick and Stuart Bliss has seen Earle amass a total of 90 points from 23 games. Second placed Ian McFarlane had a similar record this week beating Jake Smith 3-0 and Darren Whitehouse and Tony Comerford 2-1. McFarlane is just three points behind Earle, but he has only played 20 games. Just one more week before the midway point of the season and then the format for the second half changes from games of 301 to 501.
Top break this week went to Mark O’Donnell, who in his tie with Adam Gallett recorded breaks of 120 and 160, unfortunately for Mark it was not enough to avoid a straight 3-0 defeat.

He recorded 3-0 wins against both Stuart Bliss and Terry Blakemore, plus a 2-1 success against Steve Cousins to give him a total of 101 points, a massive eleven points lead over chasing duo Adam Gallett and Robbie Earle. Gallett had a 3-0 win over Rick Barberan and 2-1 wins against Lee Beech and Luis Barberan, Earle did not play any games this week.
Just one maximum scored and that was supplied by Mark O’Donnell in is 3-0 win over Steve Cousins.

The league have been engaged in their doubles knockout. Taking the title with a final win over Blane Homer and Ian McFarlane were Adam Thomas and Matt Gallett. After beating Mark Elkin and Jake Smith in the quarter finals Thomas and Gallett took out George and Kristian Green in the semi’s to book their final spot.
From the other side of the draw Homer and McFarlane had to first play against Steve Cousins and Mark O’Donnell in a preliminary round game, they then went on to defeat Sean O’Donnell and Darren Whitehouse, before a last four success over Stuart Bliss and Adam Gallett.

It has been a bad week for Adam Gallett in the thisisdarts.co.uk Individual League, losing both of his games and dropping one place in the league table to third. Gallett lost his first game against Robbie Earle 3-0 and then went down 2-1 to Adam Thomas. Earle has taken over the number two spot despite losing his other game 3-0 to leader Ian McFarlane. McFarlane won his other fixture against Jason Evans 2-1 and now has a huge 16 points cushion between him and Earle.
Five recorded maximums this week, supplied by, Adam Thomas, Jason Evans, Tony Comerford, Colin Mace and Luis Barberan.
