The Pip Club League got its new season off the mark this week and in division one Sports Bar set the pace with a resounding 15-1 win away to newly promoted North Warwick Cricket Club. Birchmoor Club also had a good win as they won their home tie against Kettlebrook Club 11-5.
In division two Pip Club and Two Gates Club both had 11-5 against respective opponents Old Liberal Club and Progressive Club.

Week two in the league and Birchmoor Club, with a 10-6 win at the Dolphin have taken over pole position in division one. Other results in the division saw Belgrave chalk up a 12-4 home win over Red Lion, while J W Belgrave Club were not far behind with an 11-5 win at Sports Bar. Newly promoted North Warwick Cricket Club registered their first win in the division, a 9-7 success away to Kettlebrook Club.
In the second division Sports Bar 180 are in the number one spot following their 12-4 win at the Pip Club. Bull, Polesworth are just a couple of legs behind the leaders after their 1-6 win away to bottom of the table Progressive Club.

Birchmoor Club made it three wins in a row in division one of the Pip Club League, when they beat Belgrave Club 12-4 this week. They are now two points clear at the top of the table, however, J W Belgrave Club have a game in hand and are only two points behind them.
In the second division Sports Bar 180 are in pole position following their 9-7 win at home to Old Liberal Club, T.Molyneux hitting a maximum for Sports Bar 180.

On the agenda for the league this week were preliminary rounds of their Challenge and Open Cups. In the division one game for the Challenge Cup Sports Bar beat Red Lion, while in the division two fixture it was Travellers who won through to the next round at the expense of Progressive Club.
There were two matches in the Open Cup, J W Belgrave Club beating Moat House and Old Liberal Club accounting for Kettlebrook Club.

Birchmoor Club made it four wins in as many games in division one of the Pip Club League when they won 11-5 away to Three Horse Shoes. Birchmoor are now four points clear of Sports Bar, J W Belgrave Club, Belgrave Club and Dolphin.
In the second division Sports Bar 180 chalked up a massive 14-2 home win over newcomers Bolehall Swifts to consolidate their pole position. Although top of the table Sports Bar 180 have only a slender one point lead over Bull, Polesworth, who also had an emphatic 12-4 away win against Pip Club.
Three players hit a maximum this week, Spencer Hawkesworth (Pip Club), Garry Day (Queens Head) and Steve Liddell (Bull, Polesworth).

Birchmoor Club suffered their first defeat of the campaign in division one of the Pip Club League. Playing at home Birchmoor went down 10-6 to middle of the table Red Lion. Sports Bar inched a little closer to the leaders as they finished all square at 8-8 with Dolphin and now trail by three points. Also on five points are J W Belgrave Club, Belgrave Club and Dolphin.

The Belgrave Club and the Pip Club respectively staged the top half and bottom half of the Pip Club League’s Open Cup. At the Belgrave winning through to the final were J W Belgrave Club and Bull (Polesworth) and winning at the Pip Club were Pip Club and Red Lion.

Keith Haddon hit a maximum for J W Belgrave Club in division one as they went on to win 12-4 at Three Horse Shoes. In the second division Queens Head won their home tie against bottom of the table Progressive Club 14-2 and G. Day recorded a 180 for the winners.

A 9-7 win over J W Belgrave Club has seen Red Lion move into third place in division one of the Pip Club League, while J W Belgrave have slipped from second to fourth. Sports Bar’s P.Corfield recorded a maximum and A.Carter chalked up games in 14 and 15 darts.
In the second division Sports Bar 180 suffered their first defeat in six games but retain the number one spot, now level on points with the Bull (Polesworth), who had a 10-6 home win over Two Gates Club.

Cup matches were on the agenda for the Pip Club League this week, preliminary rounds in both the divisional cups and 180 competitions. In division one Birchmoor Club beat North Warwick Cricket Club in the divisional cup, while in the 180 knockout Belgrave Club defeated Three Horse Shoes.
The division two cup saw Bolehall Swifts and Queens Head in turn progress into the next round at the expense of Pip Club and Bull (Polesworth). Sports Bar 180 and Old Liberal Club won through in the 180 competition with Two Gates Club and Progressive Club making their exits.
